“No Doubt”, in Darren’s own words

Hi, this is Darren Huxoll and I am the founder and designer of “No Doubt” ATV Safety Ramps. I designed these ramps close to 20 years ago as I was working as a crop adjuster and farmer/rancher. There were two older farmers that I knew and both were backing their four-wheelers out of their pickups when the ramps slipped on them and ended up with the four-wheelers on top of them. I wish I had made them before this happened, because if they had each had a set they would still be here to talk about them. I myself have had a couple incidents where one ramp slid out from under me and I was able to jump out of the way with no injury. Initially that is what gave me the idea to do something that was safer for myself and other adjusters that I work with, and I also needed a way to load and unload my four-wheeler faster. I used to use the safety cables that came with ramps, or just tie-downs, but that all took extra time, which really just led to not using them.

Storing ramps while four-wheelers are loaded was also a problem. First I just slid them under the four-wheeler, which works until you realize your fifth-wheel ball is in the way. Then I would throw them beside the four-wheeler, which also worked until you wanted to unload โ€” then the ramps would be caught between the tire and the fender and hard to get out. So one weekend I decided to build what is now the “No Doubt” ATV Safety Ramps. The main frame slides into your receiver hitch, and the upright part of the frame is adjustable up and down so that it will fit most all pickups and even ones with flatbeds on them. The flatbed design lets you load from the back or the side, which is also used for loading on the side of flatbed trailers. Once I had that all done I decided this would work for side-by-sides as well, so now the aluminum ramps can easily slide wider just by loosening four bolts.

“I have had these for 20 years and I have never had one scary incident. I have had my wife and kids load and unload, and I do not worry about accidents. With proper use, I have ‘No Doubt’ these ramps will keep you and your family safe.”Darren Huxoll, founder

I have partnered with “Big D Welding,” who now builds them for me, as I am still a crop adjuster / farmer / rancher and just don’t have time to build. Darren Esch does a tremendous job cutting and welding these up, and if for some reason there is a specific need or custom tweak, we can do that too. Every ramp is hand-made, every piece is hand-cut. No factory or assembly line putting it together โ€” it might take a little longer to get to you, but you know it’s built right.

When not in use, these ramps just fold up and can lay in the back of your pickup, flatbed, or trailer. Pull one pin and they easily slide out of the receiver hitch and can be carried or just set down until the next time you need them.

Thank you for your interest and have a great day.
